Sicily sends rays of sunshine The Settesoli Grillo Appassimento is one of the first Appassimento wines on the German market and is therefore right on trend. In this special process, the grapes are left on the vine to dry naturally and are not harvested until late September or early October. This gives them their characteristic aromas. The Cantine Settesoli was founded in Menfi, a city steeped in history. To the west, you can see the historic ruins of Selinunte, the old Greek city. The Settesoli headquarters itself is on a gentle slope by the sea. This good location, combined with the mild climate, also forms the basis for the characteristic wines. The grapes benefit from the light-flooded environment and the warm sun.
