The pink pearl from the Cape The Laborie Impossible Rosé could hardly be more South African: 95% Pinotage - the Cape wine grape variety par excellence - and 5% Hanepoot form the team in this seductively fruity but nevertheless dry rosé from the Western Cape. Hanepoot is the South African name for the white wine variety Muscat d'Alexandrie, which is grown in many places in South Africa and in this case is responsible for a fresh citrus note in the otherwise intense berry bouquet of the rosé. The Laborie Impossible Rosé is fruity, fresh and yet wonderfully soft on the palate. It is the perfect refreshment on hot days, but also a great accompaniment to pasta, poultry, fish and salads. With this wine, the Laborie winery, which has been in existence since 1691, has hit the taste buds of fans of uncomplicated rosé with a character of origin exactly.
